First: where your child learns. Second: how it gets paid for.
These get mixed together constantly — an ESA gets described as if it were a school. It isn't. It's a way to pay for one. Keeping them separate is the fastest way to understand your actual options.
Give the wheel a spin to meet one of the six school types. It's a way to browse, not a way to decide — every type is listed below too, and you can read them in any order you like.

I'm . I built this site, I pay for it, and nobody funds it but me.
I'm a parent who has chosen several different kinds of schools for my own children, and I work in education. Nearly every source of school choice information in Arizona is run by someone with a stake in which option you pick — an advocacy group, a scholarship fund, or a company that operates schools.
I'm not against any of these options. I'm for parents having the facts before they choose. That means describing every option the same way, including the parts that are inconvenient for it, and telling you where the information came from.
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell me and I'll fix it.
